About Me
Personal
I grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where I developed a passion for sports, travel, and history. My Greek Orthodox background instilled in me the importance of community and building meaningful relationships, both personally and professionally. I thrive on engaging with people and learning from the unique perspectives that surround me.
Work Experience
At the Nebraska Cancer Coalition, I played a key role in a breast cancer awareness campaign, creating logos, social media content, and radio advertisements that effectively communicated the message. My experience at Zogalo Foods gave me valuable insights into small business operations, while my time at the Wheaton Water Department helped me refine my public relations and problem-solving skills. In addition, my leadership roles in Pi Kappa Alpha, including Health and Safety Chairman and CARE Chair, allowed me to develop strong leadership, event coordination, and risk management skills.
Related Coursework
My academic background has equipped me with a diverse skill set. Courses like Sports Media Relations and Promotions, Copy and Concept, and Strategic Development have honed my ability to craft compelling messages, understand media strategy, and engage with target audiences. Additionally, my time studying abroad in Spain in Global Sports, Media, and Entertainment expanded my knowledge of global sports media, where I gained firsthand experience at soccer clubs in Barcelona and Madrid, further enhancing my understanding of the global sports landscape.
My Outlook
I am passionate about effective communication, creative problem-solving, and building authentic relationships. Whether developing a campaign, collaborating with a team, or engaging with others, I’m trying to find meaningful ways to connect and make an impact.
